Core Clinical Services

Starting in March 2021, the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services began offering needs based funding to families for Core Clinical Services.  The funding is intended to provide children and youth on the autism spectrum with access to evidence-informed clinical services at a range of intensities that are responsive to their unique strengths, needs, opportunities and goals.

Core clinical services and supports include:

  • Applied Behaviour Analysis
  • Speech Language Pathology
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Mental Health Services, including counselling and/or psychotherapy
  • Technology at the recommendation of a regulated health professional or Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA)

Contact a Service Coordinator to learn what services and supports families can access at Bethesda with their Core Clinical Service funding.

More information can be found on the Government of Ontario's website about Core Clinical Services.
